Prayer Team

“Pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances.”

-1 Thessalonians 5:17

The Prayer Team meets each Sunday at 8am in the Student Building on the Risen property. We are also part of a GroupMe that receives and shares prayer requests throughout the week that are submitted by Risen attendees through the Connect card or through the app. The Prayer Team eagerly, faithfully and joyfully prays together for (but most certainly not limited to) our Risen leadership, Risen attendees (including children, students, parents, elderly, new attendees and church members) as well as the property of the church and its ability to flourish. We submit to God's leadership and guidance in praying, modeled by Jesus and inspired by the Holy Spirit. We believe strongly in the power of prayer and believe that our prayers are being heard and interceded for by our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
