Teaching kids to love & follow Jesus.
Our mission is for kids to experience the joy of the gospel and grow in Christ as they discover truths about God, his Word, his Son, and his love.
Our Values
As a Gospel-centered church, we want the Gospel to be at the core of everything we teach, and this includes our children.
We utilize the Gospel Project curriculum which walks kids through the whole narrative of scripture highlighting the primacy of Jesus Christ.
We believe that parents are the primary disciplers of their children and we aim to support parents in that endeavor.
From take home activity pages, our Newsletter email and our family resources page, we desire to equip parents in the joys and challenges of raising a family that is pursuing Christ’s kingdom.
One of the ways we make space for kids to hear the gospel is by having an engaging space where distractions can be limited and fun can be had. The cleanliness of our classrooms and the safety of our processes contribute to that. If you have any questions about our KIDS ministry and protocol, please contact us.

"I am honored to get to be a small part of these kids' growth in God. The best part of my week is seeing the look on a child’s face when they truly “get” something seemingly profound about our Lord. It’s also a lot of fun, but that is just a plus. I remember a Sunday school teacher I had as a young kid at the church I attended. I don’t Remember his name, what he taught, or what I learned, but I do remember a shift in my heart that highlighted Jesus is real and he loves me specifically. If I can be a part of that in even one kids life it’s worth it."

"I serve in Risen KIDS not because it’s a “I have to” but because “I get to.” The kids bring me joy and it’s a way to be more like Jesus. I imagine when Jesus welcomes children He does it with such warmth and love. I aspire to do the same."

"Serving in Risen KIDS is such a gift. It’s incredible to think about how foundational this time is in these kids’ lives—learning the truth of the gospel and understanding the bigger story of Scripture. Watching them get excited about God’s Word, carry their Bibles, flip to the text, and not only answer questions but ask thoughtful ones of their own—it’s such an honor to be part of that. I’m grateful to play a small role in helping them grow in their relationship with the Lord and become the salt and light He has called them to be in this world."
