Hosea: Wounded Messenger

The Word of God is a feast. In church contexts, there will be times when we invite you to the dining room. If you go to church on Sunday morning, you’ll probably get a polished sermon on Sundays. But at Bible study, we want to invite you into the kitchen. Not only do we want to serve you the feast, but we also want to show you how to prepare it yourselves.

In this study, we will work through the book of Hosea. The message of Hosea is not for the faint of heart. It will wake you up like a bucket of ice water splashed on your face. It will rip off the callouses of your numb heart. But it points your heart to the covenant-keeping God who is jealous for your love and to the fierce protection of a loving Father.
